By Buffalo Exchange Chicago
We had so much fun at Pitchfork Festival this year! Buffalo Exchange Chicago came out and set up with a collection of our favorite festival styles and some sweet Buffalo swag. Big thanks to everyone who stopped by!
A Little Bit about Pitchfork Festival
If you’re not familiar with the Pitchfork Festival, it’s an independently run music festival that has quickly gained international acclaim in the 12 years since it started. It showcases more than 40 bands over three days each summer in Chicago’s Union Park and focuses on supporting local businesses and keeping ticket costs reasonable. This year’s festival took place from July 14 to July 16, 2017 and Buffalo Exchange Chicago was lucky enough to be there with our favorite festival wears in tow. This year’s lineup included favorites like LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, Solange, PJ Harvey, Dirty Projectors and more!
Customers loved our Buffalo Exchange fans, great for keeping cool when the sun was shining bright! Want a fan like this? Stop into one of our stores to see if we have any in stock! They’re free, plus they make you feel like Buffalo royalty.
Pitchfork Festival Style
Our team loved seeing all the fantastic Pitchfork festival style and helping everyone put the finishing touches on their outfits. We were going gaga over coordinated crews wearing sets of bright, matching outfits. We also had our eyes on graphic patterned overalls, colorful vintage dresses, fun graphic tees paired with high-waisted shorts and fishnet socks layered under sandals. The 70s and 90s were out in full force and we couldn’t get enough!
The Pitchfork Festival crowd that stopped by our booth particularly loved our Mexican blankets and tapestries to lay out on the lawn, sunglasses to keep the summer rays at bay, fanny packs to tote around essential goodies and lightweight jackets and sweaters for those nighttime breezes. Hope to see you all there next year! Whether you forgot a critical outfit component or just want to pick up some new pieces while waiting for the next band to play, be sure to stop by our booth!
