DIY: As Cute as a Button!

In search of an inexpensive way to add custom jewelry pieces to your collection? Fabric button earrings are easy to make and so versatile –they easily add whimsy to any wardrobe.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- cover button kit (they come in multiple sizes)
- scissors
- pliers
- earring backs
- fabric remnants
- jewelry glue
Use pliers to take out the back loop of the button
Using the pattern on the back of the cover button kit, cut out your fabric pieces
Center fabric wrong side up on the white piece of the button maker
Push button into button maker and fold fabric over button
Place back of button on top of fabric & use blue piece to push down. Then pop the finished button out of the mold.
Glue earring backs to button
Let dry for at least 8 hours.
And there you have it; a simple pair of studs to call your own.
