A tinge of excitement filled the air as our staff prepared to open our doors on Saturday, May 10. In addition to the regular Saturday rush of weekend warriors, many fresh faces stopped by. What drew them in was our beautifully decorated Airstream parked right in front of the store to celebrate our company’s 40th anniversary.
The inside of the renovated trailer was lined top to bottom and side to side with an incredible assortment of vintage pieces that had been carefully curated over the past six months. From belts to hats, jackets and boots, dresses and purses—it was nothing short of a vintage manifesto. In the pop-up shop, one could find a variety of groovy bell bottoms, embroidered tunics, leather fringe jackets, and the like. Since each store was able to bring out its very own collection of vintage, each stop had its own special selection that reflected the community in its entirety. The pop-up shop was an electrifyingly fun way to put a modern Buffalo twist on a blast from the past.
