By Buffalo Exchange Santa Monica
To start off one of the hottest weeks in Los Angeles, we were visited by the wonderfully decorated touring Buffalo Exchange 40th Anniversary trailer. Thankfully the ocean breeze kept our eager shoppers cool on Main Street, Santa Monica. Our shoppers enjoyed thirst quenching refreshments and delicious popcorn. They also were excited to join in the festive body paint we had in-store and many shoppers walked away with fun brightly colored arm bands!
The brightly colored balloons, cute fans, pens, buttons, stickers, and tattoos enticed shoppers to join in the anniversary celebration and they even stopped to get a photo snapped. On the trailer they enjoyed the charming personal items, trinkets, and photos of Kerstin and Spencer. And, once they started perusing through the racks of clothing they fell in love with authentic vintage western shirts, cowboy boots, and belt buckles, as well as beautifully printed blouses, skirts, and dresses. Fringed leather jackets and vest were also a hit, although, shoppers were most excited for the stunning leather bags that sold just as quickly as they could get their hands on them. Extraordinary bolo ties hung along inside the trailer with printed scarfs, and bandanas. A long time regular said we made her day, because she got a lovely picture with Rebecca Block in front of the trailer. Having the Airstream visit our store made for a fantastic day. A big thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate a beautiful 40 years, and here is to another fantastic 40 years!
