Daily Journal recommended Buffalo Exchange in “7 shop stops in Wicker Park” on June 15, 2016: “…for a fashionista on a budget, Buffalo Exchange features designer brands at extremely affordable prices. They also have some cool programs to give back, too. …”
Sasha Ramirez is a regular customer here at the Long Beach Buffalo Exchange. She has been shopping with us for over two years and is most recognizable for wearing all pink all the time! She describes herself as a “cool version” of Marcia Brady and takes her style inspiration from Priscilla Presley and Twiggy. She is an avid thrift shopper and vintage collector. She loves to shop at Goodwill, the Long Beach local favorite La Bamba, and, of course Buffalo Exchange. Her favorite Buffalo score was a vintage 60s house-printed romper. Currently she is shopping for cute printed shorts and rompers for summer.

Paper Blog featured Buffalo Exchange in “Portland Thrift Shops: The 5 Most ‘Worth It’” in June 2016: “…Buffalo Exchange has the most “I’d wear that” clothes and shoes. … My favorite Buffalo outing involves selling a small pile of old clothes I don’t want, taking the in-store credit and walking out with a whole new outfit: it’s ethical clothing recycling at its finest. …”
Who’s Who in Business featured Buffalo Exchange founder Kerstin Block in “Resale Fashion Pioneer” in June 2016: “…Today resale fashionistas buy, sell and trade secondhand clothing at five Buffalo Exchange outposts in Arizona … For more than four decades, success has hinged on hiring the right people. ‘We’re always looking for the diamond in the rough,’ Block says. ‘We look for people who have the ability to look at clothing and ascertain if this is something we can sell in the store or not.’… Employees are empowered to curate their store’s inventory … The recipient of a number of entrepreneurship awards, Block draws inspiration and business lessons from many different quarters.”
