For months, our store has been anticipating the arrival of the fabled 40th Anniversary Airstream trailer. After watching our sister stores across the nation host this traveling birthday party we had ample inspiration to make the final stop in Boulder, Colorado worth the wait for our local Buffalo Exchange community. The crafty staff personalized their Buffalo Exchange tour t-shirts with everything, from pony beads to safety-pins, and everyone looked fab-yee-haw-lous. Customers new and old got a little history lesson about Buffalo Exchange, as well as a whole lot of freebies when they stopped in to shop or snap a photo in front of the ol’ silver sweetheart. There was some Colorado sunshine, rain, dogs, more sunshine, a live DJ set by Jeromie Dorrance, and Boulder’s own Americana band The Whale Tales wrapped up the night with a live performance!

In sunny Denver, we were boot scootin’ with anticipation as the 40th Anniversary Airstream arrived! It was more magical than we ever imagined! We filled it with the best vintage we had and styled it to show our Denver flair, including some rare Rockmount Ranch Wear vintage pieces. We also celebrated with some sweet treats such as lemonade and the absolutely addicting Voodoo Doughnuts. Surprisingly it rained, hailed, and stormed for about an hour, but even a tornado warning didn’t stop us from having a good time. We all wish we could have shown how sunny our city normally is, but we shined bright with our boots, leather, and fringe. Thank you so much for celebrating with us, and we hope that Buffalo Exchange keeps recycling clothing going for another 40 years!
