40th Tour: Fullerton

By Buffalo Exchange Fullerton

Buffalo Exchange

Fullerton’s 40th Anniversary Tour day was hot, hot, hot (both literally—102 degrees to be exact— and figuratively)! The sun shined into our lush green and brick back alley, which made the tour trailer gleam and draw a crowd of eager shoppers, while we finished loading up our racks (racks, on racks, on racks) of colorful goodies.

ASUO Street Faire

By Buffalo Exchange Eugene

Buffalo Exchange

The Eugene Buffalo Exchange participated—for its second time—in the biannual University of Oregon Street Faire! The event takes place in the heart of campus, and is essentially a venue to host local artisans, vendors, nonprofits, and student programs. We decked out our Buffalo booth with a variety of items for men and women including clothing, shoes, and accessories. We had tons of fun promo items like tattoos and fans. Students were stoked to find everything, from comfy Nike sweaters, festival essentials like high-waisted shorts, and fringe crop tops. Flowy printed pants were definitely a must have for the ladies this year, and the guys were all about the graphic tees and tanks. The weather was beautiful on the first day, which brought tons of people out to the fair and into the booth, but with any outdoor Oregon event the rain is never far away. Rain or shine we kept the party going, and the event once again was a great success!

40th Tour: Long Beach

By Buffalo Exchange Long Beach

While in Long Beach, the blazin’ heat didn’t keep our trailer from staying cool. As soon as the Airstream rolled up the people of Belmont Shore got curious, “is it a new food truck in town?” We packed the trailer with our hand-selected vintage, western goodies, and invited them in. There was a wide assortment of cowboy boots, purses, western shirts, jackets, and vintage treasures to be found. And not to mention leather, turquoise, and fringe galore! Stepping into the trailer, customers were amazed by all the custom details inside, from the shelves made out of briefcases to the old bed spring used to hang jewelry.

40th Tour: LA (La Brea)

By Buffalo Exchange Los Angeles (La Brea)

Buffalo Exchange

It was a beautiful day at Buffalo Exchange on La Brea! Celebrating 40 years of business, shoppers showed up to take in all of the fabulous curated vintage and western clothing inside of our 1969 Airstream. Stepping into the trailer, shoppers were treated to a stimulating arrangement of clothing spanning several decades: leather, fringe, suede, and the best polyester filled the racks. Smiles were in no short supply. Our smallest customer of the day, Khali, brought laughter and lots of positive energy to everyone around her! She showed up in style and added a fantastic new blouse to her collection. It’s good to start collecting great clothes at a young age. She told us she is off to Ohio in a few weeks and we hope she packs what her parents purchased for her trip. Other customers shared stories of being from Tucson, where we originated forty years ago, and the cause of this tour celebration. Los Angeles, we had a blast meeting and chatting with you as you came and checked out our trailer. We sincerely appreciate you stopping by and chatting with us. We hope you found some fabulous pieces! Cheers to another 40 years.

Meet Our Customer: Tucson (Campus)

By Buffalo Exchange Tucson (Campus)

It is another bright and sunny day here at our Speedway & Campbell location as Tucson gets closer to the blazing summers our city is loved for. And yet, there she was, Enid, a regular at our store, shopping her heart away. Nothing screams “summer lovin’ girl” more than yellow rolled up chinos and leopard print Sperrys. Enid pulls fashion inspiration right from her backyard, from the bright florescent sunsets to the native southwest heritage of our homeland. If Enid were to put a label on her sense of style it would be “ugly folklore”. She’s been shopping at Buffalo Exchange all her life she says—always keeps it loyal and funky. Her favorite Buffalo find has to be her leopard print Sperrys she rocks on the daily.

Peace and love,

Tucson (Campus)

A tinge of excitement filled the air as our staff prepared to open our doors on Saturday, May 10. In addition to the regular Saturday rush of weekend warriors, many fresh faces stopped by. What drew them in was our beautifully decorated Airstream parked right in front of the store to celebrate our company’s 40th anniversary.
