Pacific Northwest street style revolves around casual, layered looks that prioritize comfort. Think ankle boots, beanies, and easy layers like cardigans and flannels. For most girls and guys, these pieces are the go-to wardrobe that works for Portland’s mild but often unpredictable weather, no matter the season. The great thing about Portland is how open-minded its populace is. As a result, nearly every fashion sub-genre can be found walking down the street here. Some branch out from the traditional Portland uniform with gothic or club-kid-inspired looks, while others play it safer with dapper looks suitable for the most British of gentlemen. Whether your style is casual or a little more out there it doesn’t matter. In Portland, everything goes.
The Coats for Cubs drive is back! Now is your chance to donate those unwanted fur items through Earth Day, April 22. When you donate to Coats for Cubs you are helping rehabilitate and create a more natural and nurturing environment for injured and orphaned animals across the United States. Last year, with your help, the drive received 952 donations resulting in a collected total of 8,524 used furs since 2006. You can donate at any Buffalo Exchange location during regular business hours. We look forward to your donations!
We love sports down here in Charlotte! We’re a mecca for NASCAR and home to an NBA and NFL team. We even have the privilege of welcoming back a throwback NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets, next season. Although, truth be told, we have been wearing those colors for two years now! We like to think that we are a place for the fashion savvy sports fan. It’s not all jerseys and sneakers. You can class up a jersey with a faux fur coat and some fierce boots or rock a street style look with some dope sneaks and a beanie.

Nights are getting colder, but we desert-dwellers still have hot style! Heavily embroidered pieces that have a vintage and southwestern feel are the hot ticket items in Tucson. Thick natural fabrics like linen and heavy cotton are perfect for keeping cozy without a lot of bulk. Colors that closely reflect the desert landscape are popular in representing our town in an earthy, chic style. Oh and don’t think we’ve forgotten about our classic cowboy boots! Standard leather with fun accent pieces freshen up the traditional southern look.

This fall, Berkeley is looking more like the streets of London as sightings of little old darlings are becoming more and more frequent. This “Oliver Twist” trend includes oversized and lengthy coats, neutral toned draping layers, and a mix of wool and tweed. Midi dresses also serve as a great base layer. Androgyny is key with newsboy and fisherman hats. Women in menswear works as a cozy, but well put together look that still has a youthful edge. Please sir, may we have some more?
