A trend I noticed on the menswear runway for this season is the “man bag”. These aren’t your typical messenger bags or laptop bags; these are chic, masculine, and functional accessories of the season. When the air is laden with enough moisture to wring it like a towel, I go into hibernation. That’s not to say I don’t get excited about summer. I suspect our brains are wired to look forward to the hot, sticky months, even though there’s no break in classes for those of us out of school, just a break in tolerable temperature. And no matter what vacation plans I scheme up, I inevitably take trips during milder months versus escaping the heat. Go figure.Full Story

Spring is upon Las Vegas, meaning that the infamous Vegas heat is right around the corner—where we find ourselves hiding indoors until the sun has set. Springtime is fleeting in Vegas, and we have only a small window where the days are sunny and breezy and the nights are cold enough to take advantage of layers. Fashion in Las Vegas must adapt, and while we still can we are loving layering denim over sheer high-low tops, throwing a flannel over our coveted AG overalls, and mixing and matching trouser shorts with oversized tanks, sweaters, and black leather boots.
