Target Designer PartnershipWhile flipping through the Instyle December issue my jaw just about dropped as I saw a Neiman Marcus symbol with a Target symbol! Could it be true?! A fold out ad and a catchy campaign line confirmed it. “1 legendary partnership.” Perhaps this is even better than the Missoni Target collection becoming within grasps of millions.

Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch… Maybe, but Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone, and Derek Lam!? I never thought I would see the day. Although when Dolce Vita and Anna Sui teamed up for Go lines, I was also in total amazement.

Lately I see plenty of what one might consider “higher end” fashion trends transcending even quicker into the main stream markets of cheap trendy stores like H&M or Forever 21. But then again even those stores are collaborating with some big names like Rory Beca for Forever 21 or Marni for H&M.

Target Designer PartnershipSo I guess Target’s slogan, “Expect More, Pay Less” is holding up. Because now I feel like I could afford a Derek Lam sweater AND a Marc Jacob wallet. The only place this could happen before was a perfect day of shopping at my local Buffalo.  The release date is Dec 1st, Be there or be non affordably luxurious.
