Buffalo Lore

In 1974 Kerstin and Spencer Block opened the first Buffalo Exchange in Tucson, Arizona. In the forty-one years since, the original 450 square foot store near the University of Arizona has blossomed into 48 stores in 17 states. Buffalo Exchange continues to be run by Kerstin and her daughter Rebecca, and is still headquartered in Tucson.

Buffalo Exchange is looking for a hardworking, fashion-obsessed leader to be our new Store Manager. Seeking adaptable, realistic person dedicated to developing their management career. We offer a challenging, fast-paced retail atmosphere for customers to successfully buy, sell, and trade current fashion. Our ideal candidate must be knowledgeable of current fashion trends, have a sincere interest in seeing customers treated like number one, and be a positive, open communicator. Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees while setting and achieving store goals. Management experience preferred. Extensive training in buying clothing from customers provided.

Looking for an organized, cheerful and dependable assistant to aid manager in maintaining store office. Prior clerical, some computer experience (MS Word/Excel) and strong attention to detail required. Prior cashier experience preferred. Position includes detailed record keeping, filing, general organization, some cleaning & errands. FT with benefits. Entry-level position. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have strong customer service and organizational skills. Excellent phone and multitasking abilities needed. Prior clerical and some computer experience (MS Word/Excel) preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Job will include data entry, filing, and errands.

Information Technology Assistant

Don’t want to work in a stuffy corporate office? Buffalo Exchange is looking for a patient, friendly team player for the IT Department at our Tucson headquarters. Tucson applicants only. Experience in PC hardware/software, MS Office, and Windows 7 required. IBM Point of Sale systems experience helpful. Excellent email communication and phone skills a must. Excellent customer service wanted. Duties include routine, entry-level computer support of our retail stores, company offices, and warehouse. Occasional travel is required. Valid driver's license is a must.

Hours during introductory period will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. After introductory period, hours will be Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:30 pm.

Digital Marketing Specialist

Join an in-house marketing team at resale pioneer, Buffalo Exchange! Our grassroots company is looking for a knowledgeable Digital Marketing Specialist. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining our online marketing efforts through Google Adwords, social media marketing and other ppc platforms. In addition to writing engaging and motivating content, they will transform our online voice into an SEO goldmine. This position includes analyzing and maintaining our digital marketing budget to maximize advertising value. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director to create and achieve goals. Strong organizational, research, communication skills are a must. Your writing must be engaging, memorable, and motivating. You’ll be part of a team and work independently. We’re looking for a self-starter who has a strong attention to detail and is ready to go the distance with our digital marketing efforts.

Job Duties:
• Fulfill digital marketing responsibilities for in-house Marketing Department,
• Analyze, develop and manage digital marketing strategies, budget and ad buys in SEM and social media advertising;
• Improve SEO through meta and content writing on and off website;
• Maintain a working knowledge of Google Adwords, PPC marketing, social media, Microsoft Office;
• Produce and manage engaging, memorable, and motivating written content for all platforms;
• Produce analysis and reports as needed on SEO, SEM, digital marketing efforts, social media and digital advertising budget;
• Perform other tasks as directed by Marketing Director.

Skill & Experience Requirements:
• Knowledgeable in SEO and SEM (PPC, Google Adwords) strategies.
• Detail and deadline-oriented.
• High level of individual initiative and independent judgment with minimal supervision and/or direction.
• Excellent follow-up and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan, execute and work within a set budget.
• Excellent writing capability and prolific in grammar with strong editing skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Wordpress, social media platforms).
• Works as a team member and fosters a cooperative work environment.
• Effective and clear communicator.
