Somerville Buffalo Exchange, Boston

Buffalo Exchange brings the original concept of buy-sell-trade clothing to Boston with the opening of its first New England store, located in Davis Square at 238 Elm Street, Somerville, MA 02144, phone 617-629-5383. The shop, which opened Oct 3, 2009, is convenient to the Red line’s Davis Square stop and the Grove Street parking lots. Store hours will be Monday-Saturday 11–7 and Sunday 12–5.

The new store’s sales floor is 2,780 square feet and the space was secured by Buffalo Exchange on August 1. There are roomy, well-lit dressing rooms -- nine women’s and four men’s -- plus two buy counters, where customers can sell their clothes for cash or trade. The store will open with inventory from Buffalo Exchange stores in New York City, Southern California, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Austin.

Buffalo Exchange has three other East Coast locations, two in New York City and one in Philadelphia. The Brooklyn store is located at 504 Driggs Ave., phone 718-384-6901; and the East Village shop is at 332 E. 11th St., phone 212-260-9340. The Philadelphia location is at 1713 Chestnut St., phone 215-557-9850. Buffalo Exchange has been recently featured on “Good Morning America,” CNN, NYLON and Teen Vogue.
