Rebecca Block is the Vice President of Tucson-based Buffalo Exchange, a nationwide chain of resale clothing stores. Started in 1974 by her parents, Spencer and Kerstin Block, Rebecca grew up working in and watching the family business organically develop into the 49 stores in 20 states it is today. Her early exposure to apparel created a lifelong love for fashion, outdone only by her love for shoes and purses.
She credits the success of Buffalo Exchange to the values instilled in the organization from the start. Basic principles of how to fairly treat fellow human beings, customers and employees alike, are at the heart of everything they do.
Rebecca holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona in Anthropology and French. She calls Tucson home as she shares her life with her husband Tim, daughter Melissa, four rat terriers, and four adopted desert tortoises.
“I strive to remain open minded, flexible, and to believe in the innate goodness of people every day.”
